This red skirt has ended up being one of my favorite items in my closet. I haven’t even styled it all that differently, relying on the same color palette every time (see Example A and Example B), but it’s a bold piece that I get a ton of joy from each time I put it on. What better way to celebrate the day of love than lovin’ what you’re wearing and lovin’ yourself wearing it.
Speaking of loving what you’re wearing, I’ve got two words for you: Cat Shirt. I’d seen this around the Internet for a while, and just thought it was the cutest thing ever. For some reason, I didn’t feel strongly enough, though, to actually buy it. Then one night before bed I was scrolling through Instagram when I got a notification from a friend tagging me in a photo of the shirt, where the caption was advertising that it was both on sale and there was a discount code I could use. I actually ordered it right then and there, and then promptly forgot about it. Talk about getting a ton of joy — receiving a cat shirt by surprise that you paid almost nothing for.
