Again with the 1960s Palm Springs vibes, I know. I’m very committed to this style this summer; I hope you don’t mind! I actually received this silk scarf as a surprise gift from my dear friend Lily last month and I can’t get believe how well it matches my aesthetic right now. There are a ton of pretty colors and the floral print is gorgeous, so I had fun figuring out exactly how to tie it to show it all off. I’ve always said that orange is my power color, and I’d say it’s pretty hard to dispute that in this outfit!
I was also excited to find another way to style this francesca’s little white dress (previously worn here
) I love so much. The fit is a gosh darn dream, and I’m still not over all the romantic details: scallops, embroidery, ladder stitch. It’s a good one. Add a few cognac accessories and a pair of vintage-inspired sunglasses, and this dress is effortless summer sophistication.
While my scarf may be vintage, there are so many pretty vintage-inspired scarves in stores right now! I’ve linked a few of my favorites below (plus this one — my very fav — that I couldn’t get to work in the widget for some reason).
How would you describe your aesthetic this summer?
