Cheery holiday outfits don’t have to be based around LBDs or sparkly accessories. I honestly felt just as festive in this super easy outfit as I do in my velvet Christmas dress. Think of this as your answer to Christmas Day as you make your way to see Into the Woods and eat your weight in gingerbread people. Tartan is the perfect wintry print, and I love that it got to be the focal point of this otherwise quiet look.
Side note: I liked this sweater so much, I bought it twice: once in white and once in emerald. I bought it last year, but if you’re looking for high quality sweaters, be sure to check out LOFT.
For those of you who are still side-eyeing the blanket scarf, look how normal and easy this version is! I’ve definitely tied non-blanket scarves this way, but felt like there wasn’t enough scarf there to give it that cozy structure. Thanks, blanket scarf, for having ample surface area and superior comfort. It’s like a really cute, warm airplane pillow all around my neck.
Now that I think of it, I’ll just be over here, napping on my scarf.
PS. How much of a photography master is Briley for catching that leaf throwing shot? My BFF is perfect, y’all.
