jacket & maxi: Nordy Rack // necklace: The Land of Salt

I don’t know what color thumb a person who is good at putting together outfits has, but I can tell you confidently that I don’t have a green one. As I told my mom when I killed two unkillable plants in my first apartment, “If it doesn’t meow, I won’t remember to feed it.” While I’m pretty sure I couldn’t keep even a succulent alive for more than a week or two, I still like to look a them!
I was stoked when Briley agreed to take some photos of me on our trip to The Great Outdoors, one of my favorite spots in south Austin. The shop is right across from St. Edward’s, so I went a bunch of times in college when I just needed to decompress, take in some fresh air, and smell the roses.
This outfit is a comfy staple in my closet. In fact, now that I think of it, I wore almost the same outfit last summer. Coming up with new outfits is fun, but it’s nice to have some go-to repeat offenders in your closet too.
Oh, and if my necklace caught your eye, it’s from the cutest Etsy shop, The Land of Salt. I discovered them from Gentri’s blog and immediately fell in love with their selection (and prices!). If you’re looking for a special piece of jewelry and don’t want to break the bank, check them out! Also, expect to see this necklace a lot on the blog.
