I don’t know about you, but it’s been coooooooold here in Austin. Yesterday, it was warmer in Anchorage than in Austin. What??? I live in Austin on purpose! It’s not supposed to get cold like this!

My mom has been telling me for months that this is going to be the coldest winter of my whole life, so I better get to bundlin’. I don’t know if it’s actually the coldest in my 23 years, but it’s most definitely up there. Last winter was one of the mildest I can remember. I could have probably survived without a real coat. That is not the case at all this year.

In an attempt to prepare for the coldpocalypse, I ordered myself a pair of corduroys. One of my dear friends has an internship in Chicago and asked what she should wear, and I immediately knew that she needed a whole closet of colored cords to keep her warm and stylish in her new gig. She went on a little shopping spree at Loft and found some fabulous pairs. I haven’t spent a lot of time shopping at Loft, mostly because they’re usually just out of my price range, and because their website frustrates me (does anyone else feel this way??). But, I knew that they recently redesigned their pants selection to better fit real women’s bodies, so I thought I’d give it a little look-see. Bonus: Loft was having a 50% off sale between Boxing Day and New Year’s!

I ordered this rust pair of cords, not really knowing how they would fit, and this white sweater that’s just like my emerald one. They came in the mail last week and I decided they deserved an outing together for both fitting so beautifully! Honestly, all the pants that I have ordered online have fit me better than those I’ve bought in the store. I don’t know what it is, saved up karma or something, but I’m very appreciative!

Do you shop Loft? What’s your experience like with Internet Pants?
